A unique Baltimore shop that combines the best of eclectic retail with some delicious bites is looking to spread its charms to DC. Good Neighbor plans to be just what the name promises when it opens its first location in the District, as reported by popular X account, @eater_dc.

Good Neighbor’s second location is slated to open at 429 8th Street SE. There is little information about the establishment’s new home beyond its address; an opening timeline is not available yet and the storefront is not yet included on the Good Neighbor website.

According to real estate site Loop Net, the building spans 4,282 square feet and is two stories tall. It is not yet apparent if Good Neighbor will be occupying the full space or only a portion.

The dining aspect of Good Neighbor hews towards cafe offerings. Future customers can look forward to a range of coffee drinks alongside tea and pastries. The retail selections are more varied; the shop sells everything from furniture to table ware to bath and body products. The website states: “at good neighbor, objects are found and designed to inspire curiosity — made by hand all over the world for your home”.
