A nostalgic cocktail bar, designed to “take you back to slower times,” is set to debut in Philadelphia this summer.
Hearsay, a new concept from hospitality veteran Justin Jordan behind Home Hospitality Group, will open at 1222 Walnut St., according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.
The spot will feature an ’80s and ’90s retro vibe. It will also offer a fresh, juice-driven cocktail program paired with a Korean-inspired menu.
The Walnut St. location is a four-story, 18,500-square-foot building and also houses three other concepts by Home Hospitality.
Celine, a stylish cocktail bar, is located on the third floor. HYO, a classic Korean tabletop barbecue concept, will open later this summer behind Hearsay, with guests entering through a phone booth. Chancellor Room, a dimly lit cocktail space described as “where ambiance leads the experience,” will debut this fall on the building’s second floor.
Over the past decade, Jordan has worked in various roles at numerous Atlantic City venues, including HQ Nightclub, HQ Beach Club, The Social, Ovation Music Hall, Revel Casino, C5 at the Chelsea Hotel, The Pool at Harrah’s, House of Blues Atlantic City, the Foundation Room Atlantic City, Mixx Nightclub at the Borgata, Providence Nightclub at the Tropicana, the Pier Shops at Caesars and Mark Etess Arena at the Trump Taj Mahal, according to LinkedIn.
An official opening date has not been announced, but is targeting a late June debut, according to the outlet. Follow Hearsay on Instagram for the latest updates.
