Pole Fitness Seattle is preparing to open a new Bellevue studio at 12121 Northup Way, expanding its presence on the Eastside with a larger space designed to accommodate its growing community.
Founder Olga Polaris told What Now Seattle that the expansion reflects the studio’s continued growth since opening in 2019.
“When I first opened Pole Fitness, my goal was to create a welcoming space where people could build strength, confidence, and community through movement. Over the years, our students have continually supported that vision, and we simply outgrew what our previous location could offer.”
Scheduled to open on August 15, the new studio at Northup Center will feature dedicated pole and aerial rooms, and expanded programming opportunities.
“The new Bellevue studio allows us to take that vision to the next level. With 14-foot ceilings, dedicated pole and aerial rooms, and significantly more space, we can offer a wider variety of classes and create an even better learning environment.”
The location was intentionally selected for its accessibility to residents throughout the Eastside.
“We chose this location in the Northup Center because it’s centrally located and easily accessible from Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, and the greater Eastside community. It allows us to better serve both our existing students and the many new people who have been asking for more beginner-friendly pole and aerial opportunities in the area.”
For those unfamiliar with pole and aerial fitness, Olga explains the classes are designed to be welcoming to complete beginners.
“Pole and aerial fitness combine strength, flexibility, artistry, and fun in a way that feels more like learning a new skill than working out. Many people are surprised by how accessible it is. You don’t need upper body strength, dance experience, or flexibility to start. Our beginner classes are designed for complete newcomers, and students progress at their own pace.”
She added that the experience often goes beyond physical fitness.
“Most importantly, it’s an incredibly empowering experience. People come for fitness, but they often stay because of how strong, confident, and capable they feel as they learn something they never thought possible.”
According to Olga, Pole Fitness Seattle distinguishes itself through its boutique approach and focus on individualized instruction.
“We are intentionally a boutique-style studio focused on quality over quantity. Our classes are kept small, so instructors can provide personalized attention and help every student progress safely and confidently.”
The new Bellevue location will offer classes ranging from beginner to advanced levels, including pole fitness, aerial hoop (lyra), aerial hammock classes, flexibility training, strength and conditioning sessions, workshops, and community events.
Looking ahead, Olga hopes the studio continues to be a place where people feel empowered.
“Our mission has always been simple: create a place where people feel supported, challenged, and inspired. Whether someone walks through our doors for fitness, confidence, friendship, or simply to try something new, we want them to leave feeling stronger than when they arrived.”
