Woods Coffee is expanding its footprint in King County with two new locations planned for Issaquah and Renton.

The family-owned coffee chain recently announced on social media that a new café is coming soon to Issaquah.

While an exact address and opening date have not yet been revealed, the company indicated in the comments that the Issaquah location will be near the QFC at Northeast Gilman Boulevard and 156th Avenue Northeast.

This announcement comes as Woods Coffee is also preparing to open a new store at 151 Sunset Blvd. N. in Renton, which is listed as “coming soon” on the company’s website.

Founded by Wes Herman, Woods Coffee has grown into one of the Pacific Northwest’s most recognizable regional coffee chains, with more than 20 locations across Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, and King counties.

Woods Coffee locations feature coffee roasted through the company’s in-house roasting operation, alongside a menu of baked goods and breakfast offerings prepared daily by Woods Bakery.

Guests can choose from espresso drinks, drip coffee, mochas, chai lattes, and blended beverages, as well as breakfast burritos, croissant sandwiches, bagels, açaí bowls, pastries, cookies, and seasonal baked treats.

Woods Coffee has continued to share updates about its Issaquah and Renton expansion plans on social media as both locations move closer to opening.
