A Bay Area dessert destination is set to expand to San Francisco’s Castro District. Angela’s Ice Cream will debut a new location at 4053 18th Street, bringing its Latin-inspired ice cream to the neighborhood.

Founded by  Angela Garat, the family-owned business specializes in small-batch ice cream, fresh fruit paletas, and traditional Mexican desserts. The upcoming Castro location  will join the company’s existing lstores in Santa Clara and San Jose, extending the brand’s footprint further into the Bay Area.

By creating flavors inspired by Latin American traditions, Angela’s Ice Cream offers a menu featuring favorites such as Horchata, Mango Chamoy, Mazapán, and Abuelita Mexican Chocolate, along with all-time favorites including Cookies and Cream and Mint Chip. The company also serves aguas frescas, sundaes, banana splits, and an assortment of paletas made with real fruit.

With a mission to provide premium desserts while celebrating the flavors and traditions of Mexico, Angela’s Ice Cream emphasizes quality ingredients and handcrafted preparation. The company has become a popular spot for families and dessert lovers in The Bay Area.
