San Diego’s Loving Hut Announces Permanent Closure
Loving Hut is popularly known for serving 100% plant-based Asian-inspired global street food and a relaxed atmosphere.
The Loving Hut Mira Mesa team shared the closure announcement on Instagram. The post reflected on the restaurant’s years in the neighborhood and thanked customers for their support. In the post, the team wrote, “This restaurant has been so much more than just a business—it has been a place filled with memories, laughter, friendships, and an amazing community.”
The post also thanked employees for their years of service and added, “We could not have built and operated this incredible restaurant without your hard work, dedication, and passion.”
The announcement comes weeks after the company closed its North Park location on May 15. Ahead of the North Park closure, the restaurant offered customers a 20% discount on all orders.

The Loving Hut restaurant chain was founded to offer gourmet cuisine with complete vegan ingredients. Over the years, the restaurant became a staple name because of its plant-based menu and affordable pricing.
The restaurant expanded across multiple locations, with branches in Milpitas, Palo Alto, and San Francisco. The restaurant also has successful outposts in Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Indonesia.
In the post, the team encouraged customers to stop by for one final meal before closing. The team also reminded customers to redeem any unused gift cards before July 3.
