The Tot Spot Jax is “Jacksonville’s 1st Tater Tot Food Truck and Catering Company who specializes in a variety of cuisines that offer a flavorful and fun experience with our favorite little potato bites!” says the food truck’s Facebook page.

However, the Tot Spot’s last post was on May 6, and in the time since, it’s website (thetotspotjax.com) has gone dark, as has its page on Seamless.

But if you’re missing your Tot Spot fix, there appears to be good news: plan review paperwork has been submitted by The Tot Spot Jax Inc for the food truck, which indicates that the tater tot truck will soon have its operations up and running again!

The menu at the Tot Spot has included varieties like the OG Tot (Crispy tater tots topped with homemade chili, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, sour cream, bacon, jalapeños and scallions), the Spicy Sweet and Sour Chicken Tot (Crispy tater tots topped with crispy chicken tenders, sesame seeds and house-made spicy sweet and sour sauce), the Philly Tot (Crispy Tater Tots topped with Phillys finest steak, melted white American cheese, peppers, onions and our house made garlic parm mayo), and more.

What Now reached out on Friday to owner John Scaramuzzi to ask about plans for a Tot Spot relaunch. Scaramuzzi was not immediately available for comment.

You can keep up with the Tot Spot Jax by following the food truck on Facebook.
