Huxdotter Coffee is preparing to open two new locations in Washington. The company recently announced on Instagram that a new drive-thru coffee stand is expected to open in September at 31239 3rd Ave. in Black Diamond.
Customers can expect the company’s signature espresso drinks, Hux Energy beverages, fresh pastries, and breakfast and lunch items.
The company is also planning a new café in downtown Sumner. According to The News Tribune, Huxdotter Coffee will occupy part of the former Bank of America building at 921 Alder Ave., which is being redeveloped into a mixed-use property. The café is expected to open in early 2027.
The Sumner café will include a full kitchen and plans to serve beer and wine later in the day. Indoor seating and sidewalk bistro tables are also planned.
Founded in 1990 as Cascade Espresso, Huxdotter Coffee began with a small espresso cart in North Bend before growing into a regional coffee brand with locations in North Bend, Snoqualmie, Auburn, and Renton.
Today, the company serves locally roasted coffee, premium teas, signature Hux Energy drinks, pastries, bagels, and breakfast and lunch sandwiches.
