Dave’s Hot Chicken is bringing its Nashville-style chicken to Lynnwood. According to the Puget Sound Business Journal, the chain has signed a lease for its first Lynnwood location at 18505 Alderwood Mall Parkway, just east of Alderwood Mall, in the former Bullseye Lane Axe Throwing space.
The restaurant is expected to open by the end of the year, adding another stop to the brand’s growing presence in Western Washington. Local franchise operator Keshap Group is based in Kirkland and currently operates the brand’s Washington locations in Seattle, Redmond, Tacoma and Federal Way.
The group is planning eight more restaurants across Western Washington, including Puyallup, Issaquah and West Seattle. No opening timeline for these locations has been released.
Dave’s Hot Chicken began as a parking lot pop-up in East Hollywood in 2017, when childhood friends Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan and Tommy Rubenyan launched the concept with just $900. Since then, the chain has grown to more than 450 locations worldwide.
The menu centers on Nashville-style hot chicken served as tenders, sliders and bites, with spice levels ranging from no spice to the chain’s signature Reaper heat level. Fries, mac and cheese, and shakes round out the offerings.
