One of the DFW area’s go-to sports bar and grill concepts is expanding into Garland. According to public filings, Bubba’s 33 plans to open a new location at 5085 George Bush Highway. What Now Dallas spoke with Stefan Gentry, Regional Partner of Bubba’s 33, who confirmed that the Garland restaurant is expected to open in fall 2027.
Bubba’s 33 is well-known for serving scratch-made burgers, hand-stretched pizza dough, made-to-order wings and tenders, and a full bar featuring handcrafted cocktails, all served alongside wall-to-wall TVs designed for catching the game.
Gentry highlighted that the new location will maintain the same experience guests have come to expect. “We will maintain our mark and serve our scratch-made high-quality food and handcrafted cocktails like our other locations,” he told What Now Dallas. That consistency is central to the brand’s approach as it continues expanding. The chain, a concept from Texas Roadhouse, has been steadily growing its footprint across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
What Now Dallas previously reported that Bubba’s 33 was also headed to Grand Prairie, with work set to begin on that new DFW location in the spring. Together, the two projects point to a broader push by the brand to fill out its presence across the Metroplex.
