A mobile Memphis tire company is getting ready to lay down roots. Star Tire LLC has filed paperwork to open a brick and mortar, allowing it a permanent residence to provide all of the area’s tire needs.
The company is aiming to set up shop at 2966 Overton Crossing Street. Star Tire currently has a certificate of occupancy under review with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development. The form does not provide a comprehensive breakdown of the shop, however it does point out some salient details.
Star Tire will span 6,000 square feet and according to the paperwork, the business’s purpose is as simple and straightforward as the name would suggest-the business use is listed as “selling tires”.
It is not clear yet when, precisely, the store will be ready for customers; the certificate of occupancy is still under review, which shows that progress is both being made and still underway.
