Toro Development Company has begun preleasing for Prelude at Medley. The community will be the first residential offering at the Johns Creek mixed-use development. This is a milestone for Medley as it prepares for its grand opening.
Preleasing for Prelude at Medley Begins
Toro Development Company is preleasing Prelude at Medley. The apartment community is part of the mixed-use development. Medley is set to celebrate its grand opening on October 29, 2026, with the first residents moving in on November 1.
Prelude will offer one- and two-bedroom apartments within walking distance of Medley’s shops, restaurants, and public spaces. Amenities will include a pool, fitness center, clubhouse with coworking spaces, pet spa, coffee bar, and property-wide high-speed Wi-Fi.

Apartment features will include smart home technology, vinyl plank flooring, and stainless steel appliances. They will also feature quartz countertops, floor-to-ceiling hardwood cabinetry, French-door refrigerators, and in-unit washers and dryers. The community will be managed by Gallery Residential.
Medley’s Growing Footprint in Johns Creek
Medley is located at the intersection of Johns Creek Parkway and McGinnis Ferry Road. The development will include 145,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and 881 residences. Medley will also include a 150-room boutique hotel, 110,000 square feet of office space, and a 25,000-square-foot plaza that is expected to host up to 200 events annually.
Trader Joe’s is already open at Medley. Other tenants include Shake Shack, Sephora, STIR, CRU Food & Wine Bar, Fado Irish Pub, Drybar, Playa Bowls, and others. Toro has also announced progress on Overlook, which is a 301-unit apartment community at Cumming City Center. The project is expected to begin delivering units in 2027.
Prelude at Medley marks the next step toward completing the mixed-use development. It brings new residential options to Johns Creek ahead of Medley’s grand opening.
