A new 7-Eleven may be in the works at 227 Shelby Ave in Nashville, according to a Metro Nashville building permit. The filing calls for a 4,915-square-foot convenience store with café and fuel sales, with the project carrying a reported construction value of $648,633.
The addition of a café would give the proposed location a dedicated coffee offering alongside its convenience-store operations. For the café, 7-Eleven’s coffee program goes beyond a basic cup of convenience-store coffee. According to 7-Elevens website, the brand offers freshly brewed coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, mochas and espresso, along with regular and Nitro cold brew. Customers can also customize drinks with syrups, toppings and creamers, while select locations offer beans ground fresh to order.
The broader 7-Eleven lineup includes breakfast, bakery items, hot foods, pizza, fresh and chilled selections, snacks, Slurpee drinks and Big Gulp beverages, as well as its range of coffee and other drinks. Hot-food options include chicken wings, boneless wings, chicken nuggets and potato wedges, while breakfast and bakery selections offer additional grab-and-go options. Offerings can vary by location, according to the company’s website.
No opening timeline has been determined for the proposed location.
