La La Land Kind Cafe plans to open a new Scottsdale location at The Lakefront at Scottsdale, a waterfront redevelopment at 7501 E. McCormick Parkway, according to a media advisory from Diversified Partners. The cafe’s opening date has not been announced.
A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for September 24. The roughly 100,000-square-foot property dates to 1978 and will be renovated to accommodate restaurants, shops, offices, and outdoor gathering spaces. The site has views of the lake and Camelback Mountain.
La La Land’s location directory currently lists two Arizona cafes: one at Kierland Commons in Scottsdale and another at 5039 N. 44th St. in Phoenix. What Now Phoenix previously reported plans for a cafe at Biltmore Fashion Park and a possible location near SanTan Village in Gilbert.
The La La Land menu includes espresso and matcha drinks, signature lattes, fruit coolers, and sweet and savory toasts. Featured choices include the La La Latte, Banana Cloud Latte, French Toast Latte, truffle burrata toast, and avocado toast.
Founded in Dallas, La La Land now operates cafes in Arizona, California, Tennessee, and Texas. The brand is known for its white-and-yellow spaces and its focus on kindness.
