Kroger is planning a new store in Crandall, adding to the grocery retailer’s presence across North Texas. According to public filings, the new location is planned along FM Road 741 in Kaufman County, with construction expected to wrap up in June 2027. However, dates listed in public filings are subject to change and are not always definitive.
Kroger is a grocery retailer offering a wide selection of food and household products, including fresh produce, meat and seafood, bakery items, dairy products, and everyday essentials. The company also provides pharmacy services and convenient pickup and delivery options for customers.
What Now Dallas reached out to Kroger representatives for additional information about the planned Crandall location and the company’s expansion plans in North Texas but did not receive a response before publication. An opening date for the new store has not yet been announced.
What Now has previously covered businesses operating inside Kroger locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In 2025, the publication reported on Kitchen United’s expansion into the DFW market, including its presence at Kroger near Mockingbird Station in Dallas. What Now Dallas has also covered Curry Up Now’s expansion in the region, including its location inside the Kroger at 5665 E. Mockingbird Lane.
