Potbelly Sandwich Shop is planning a new corporate-owned location in Celina, bringing the Chicago-based sandwich chain at 4250 S. Preston Road, to the intersection of North Preston Road and West Frontier Parkway.
What Now Dallas reached out to Potbelly representatives, who confirmed that the Celina location is currently planned to open in summer 2027.
Potbelly is known for its toasted sandwiches, as well as salads, soups, cookies, shakes, and coffee. Founded in Chicago in 1977, the company has grown into a national restaurant brand.
The Celina location will be one of several new Potbelly shops planned for the Dallas market as the company continues growing through both corporate-owned and franchised locations.
North Texas remains an important part of the company’s broader growth strategy, according to the company.
“Celina is one of several new shops planned for the Dallas market as Potbelly continues to grow through both corporate-owned and franchised locations. We look forward to bringing the neighborhood Potbelly experience to Celina,” the company told What Now Dallas.
The Celina project follows several Potbelly developments previously covered by What Now across Texas. What Now Austin has reported on a planned Potbelly location in Parmer Lane, while What Now San Antonio covered the chain’s expansion into New Braunfels.
