A Memphis-area favorite Chinese restaurant is planting new seeds and preparing to blossom into a fresh market. Little Petals, an offshoot of the Michelin acknowledged Petals of a Peony, is opening a new storefront in Raleigh, returning delicious Chinese to a restaurant space that used to be known for it, reports Daily Memphian.
Little Petals will be taking over the 4594 Yale Road space previously occupied by Nam King. The restaurant announced the new location via Instagram post a week ago, saying: “New little petals location at Raleigh, coming soon! We are unstoppable!”
An opening timeline is not presently available for Little Petals’ upcoming Raleigh location.
Little Petals and Petals of a Peony have, indeed, proven to be a pretty unstoppable force. Since its opening in 2023, the concept has garnered an impressive fan-following and considerable praise, thanks in part to being what the Michelin Guide described as “ground zero for fiery, tongue-numbing, chili-laden Sichuan cuisine.”
Little Petals invites customers to enjoy a taste of genuine Sichuan cuisine. It states on the website: “Step into a culinary journey where centuries of tradition meet the fiery passion of authentic Chengdu spices. Like the blooming peony, every dish tells a story of elegance, balance, and unforgettable flavor.”
