Founded in 1996 and named in honor of its creator, Roberto Coin is an international jewelry retailer that offers products crafted and imagined “through the hands of the historical and most renowned Italian jewelry artisans.”

Available at retailers all over the country, Roberto Coin is preparing to open a new store of its own at Tampa’s International Plaza and Bay Street retail center.

News of the opening first broke in July, when the shopping center announced the signing of seven new-to-market retailers that would be added to its roster. The list included BRITTO, Kendra Scott, and more.

“The additions continue to diversify the shopping center’s mix of fashion, dining and lifestyle offerings,” said coverage by Tampa Bay Business and Wealth.

“Each piece, by Roberto Coin, is the result of a thorough process, a journey among different cultures and multi-ethnic influences, through the world of nature, between echoes of the past and future projections,” says the Roberto Coin website. “The capability to transfer the most varied experiences, dreams and perspectives into the jewels, characterizes the brand’s collections with an unmistakable mark of identity and uniqueness.”

An opening date has not been announced yet for the Roberto Coin location at International Plaza and Bay Street.

“Fashion is changeable,” says a statement from Roberto Coin himself on the site. “It is whimsical. Style is not. Style is part of us, of our life, in every moment and every expression.”
