“Sit in Reverie & watch the changing color of the waves that break upon the idle seashore of the mind,” said Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. You’ll find this quotation on the website of Reverie Room Books, the new bookstore opening soon at 655 31st St S in St. Petersburg.

Promising “a space for books, dreams, & kindred spirits,” the “third space bookstore” will feature “themed rooms and reading nooks,” says St. Pete Rising.

“Reverie Room will host local author events and book signings, as well as bookish crafts, writing nights, reading clubs, silent reading nights, and audio walks along the nearby Pinellas Trail,” the coverage says.

“We believe books are an invisible string tying people together,” reads the Reverie Room website. “We’re committed to creating a comfortable space that’s welcoming to everyone: every background, every story, every chapter of life. Our team personally curates the books, events, and giftables we carry, always choosing what helps us understand ourselves, others, and the world around us.”
