Talkin’ Tacos, the fast-growing Mexican street food concept known for its viral Birria Tacos and bold, scratch-made flavors, is bringing the heat to Nashville with the grand opening of its first Tennessee location at 135 2nd Ave N., located in the heart of Downtown Nashville, just steps away from the famous Lower Broadway entertainment district.
The grand opening celebration will take place on Friday, September 25, beginning at 6 p.m. with the first 100 guests receiving a complimentary order of Talkin’ Tacos’ signature Birria Tacos, a Jarritos beverage and exclusive branded merchandise. The celebration will also feature a live DJ, LED robot performers, Katrina’s, giveaways and interactive photo moments. As part of its commitment to the local community, Talkin’ Tacos will offer complimentary meals for first responders September 28-October 1.
The 3,300-square-foot restaurant, one of the largest locations to date, features vibrant murals, neon signage, indoor seating for 85 guests, outdoor seating for 20 and self-service kiosks designed for a fast, seamless dining experience. The Nashville location will also cater to the late-night crowd, serving guests until 2 a.m. daily.
Known for its chef-driven Halal Mexican menu, Talkin’ Tacos has built a loyal following for standout items including Birria Tacos, Birria Ramen, Mahi Mahi Burritos and Street Corn in a Cup. Its signature beef birria is slow-braised for 12 hours daily, delivering rich, authentic flavor in every bite. Guests can also indulge in fan favorites like Loaded Churros, Biscoff Churros, Birria Mac N’ Cheese and specialty drinks including horchatas, mangonadas and house-made lemonades.

Founded in 2020 as a Miami food truck, Talkin’ Tacos has grown rapidly to 35 locations nationwide, with 157 additional openings on the horizon.
