A restaurant blending classic Mexican cuisine with authentic Louisiana hospitality is coming to Lafayette Parish. When it opens in Youngsville, La Casa Bayou will aspire to create a vibrant neighborhood environment, flavorful Mexican dishes, and an extensive drink program that includes handcrafted cocktails. Designed as a welcoming gathering space for casual family dinners and weekend celebrations, La Casa Bayou plans to feature music to round out its welcoming atmosphere. What Now New Orleans reached out to ownership for more information on specific menu items and an official opening date.
Construction of the upcoming spot is currently underway at 2600 E. Milton Ave. in Youngsville. A recent update posted to Facebook shows chandeliers on a covered outdoor patio and fresh stucco wall work.
“There’s still a lot to do, but little by little, La Casa Bayou is becoming what we pictured from the very beginning,” reads a post on the official Facebook page. “We’re so excited for y’all to see it come together.”
