Slinging cheesesteaks and Louisiana comfort food, Baton Rouge-based Flayva is planning a Mid-City location at 512 City Park Ave. The restaurant will likely feature an expansive menu centered around its signature cheesesteaks and burgers. The restaurant is also known for its crawfish eggrolls, chicken wings, cheesesteak fries, crab balls, and penne Alfredo pasta bowls. An opening date has not been announced, and What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

The upcoming location near City Park marks the brand’s expansion into the New Orleans market. Flayva currently operates outposts in Baton Rouge and Hammond, along with a spot in North Carolina. The company is also reportedly developing plans for a location in Texas.
