A new retail store is moving forward at Jacksonville International Airport, as part of the airport’s $344 million Concourse B expansion. A city permit issued Sept. 2 allows Seven Bridges Marketplace to proceed with a multi-million-dollar tenant improvement project, the Jacksonville Daily Record reports.

The 3,563-square-foot shop is planned at the entrance to Concourse B, positioning it to serve travelers as they enter the concourse, which is set to debut in January. Three other stores, The Beaches @JAX, Postcards from Jacksonville, and Five Points General Store, and a food court, will also open as part of the expansion project.

Construction began in July 2024 on the development, which will span 186,733 square feet across three levels and increase operations at the airport with six new gates.

The shops will be operated by WHSmith’s Marshall Retail Group. The company has many decades of experience operating specialty retail stores in airports, resorts, and casinos across North America. Its portfolio of specialty retail brands and concepts focuses on categories including fashion, accessories, convenience products, and local souvenirs.
