Carnegie Diner & Cafe is opening its doors in Downtown Brooklyn. It will be the brand’s first Brooklyn location. Its menu will bring a wide range of American comfort food to the neighborhood.
Carnegie Diner & Cafe to Open in Downtown Brooklyn
Carnegie Diner & Cafe will open its doors at City Point on September 23, at 445 Gold Street in Brooklyn. It will be the brand’s first location in Brooklyn and its eighth location nationwide.
Restaurateur and executive chef Stathis Antonakopoulos owns the restaurant and serves as CEO of Carnegie Hospitality. The restaurant will occupy a 4,500-square-foot space formerly occupied by Sixpoint Brewery at City Point. It will seat up to 150 guests.
The restaurant’s design takes inspiration from classic American diners, with comfortable booth seating throughout. It will open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Menu Highlights
The menu at Carnegie Diner & Cafe in Brooklyn will offer a wide range of American comfort food. It will include all-day breakfast, salads, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, seafood, pasta, and desserts.
Breakfast options will include Classic Benedict, Avocado Toast, Steak and Eggs, and three eggs served with hash browns and bread. Guests can also choose from a variety of pancakes, waffles, and French toast.
Lunch and dinner items will include rib-eye steak, Atlantic salmon, fish and chips, shrimp spaghetti, and spaghetti carbonara.
Desserts will include a 24-layer chocolate cake, pies, cupcakes, and milkshakes. The drink menu will feature unlimited coffee, espresso, cappuccino, tea, hot chocolate, and specialty milkshakes. The restaurant will also serve wine, beer, cocktails, mimosas, Bellinis, and Bloody Marys.
Carnegie Diner & Cafe will bring a new diner-inspired destination to City Point for locals in Brooklyn. The opening will mark the brand’s first location in Brooklyn.
