A vacant building is being turned into a spot for food, drinks and memories.
The River Bank Kitchen & Bar is being teased on social media, and is coming to 301 Summer Street in Algonac. This is close to the Walpole Algonac Ferry station, in the heart of downtown. As the project was just recently announced, owner Scott Krall does not have an opening date to share.
Krall is a local of the area, who has wanted to introduce his own restaurant concept to the city for a long time. Right now, he is keeping the details about the concept under wraps. From the recent Facebook post, it is implied food like pizza, burgers, seafood and salads will be served, along with drinks.
“This project is proudly backed by local investors who believe in Algonac and the surrounding communities. We’re excited to bring a new destination for great food, drinks, sports, and beautiful views of the St. Clair River,” says the post from the team.
As the name implies, the restaurant will be on the river bank, on the west side of St. Clair River Drive. This is on the same side as Algonac Flaming Grill, and next to the Algonac Fire Department building. Algonac Waterfront Park is right across the road.
Krall and the team will be releasing more information about River Bank Kitchen & Bar in the coming months.
