The Flora Bakehouse plans to open its second location at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in 2028, owner Nat Stratton-Clarke told What Now Seattle. The bakery was included among new dining and retail stores announced by the Port of Seattle.
“We are so excited about the new location at SEA,” Stratton-Clarke said.
The Port lists the future Flora Bakehouse as space CC-14, a Concourse C location currently occupied by Starbucks near the end of the concourse. The bakery will be across from Gate C10 and Hachi-ko, between Dish D’Lish and Le Grand Comptoir.
Construction schedules for the airport’s new concessions will vary, with work on some spaces expected to begin in 2027. An exact opening date has not been announced.
The Flora Bakehouse currently operates at 1511 S. Lucile St. in Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood.
The cafe serves sweet and savory pastries, bread, espresso drinks, and vegan and gluten-free options. It also offers soft-serve ice cream and has a rooftop deck.
The bakery is part of Flora Restaurant Group, owned by Stratton-Clarke. The company also operates Cafe Flora in Madison Valley and Floret at SEA Airport.
