Arista Wine Cellars is changing hands at 320 5th Avenue S., Suite A, in Edmonds, according to a notice from the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board.

The filing lists Arista Wine Merchants as the new business name and names Adam Stern, Dilys Myfanwy Turner, and Roger Clayton as applicants.

Co-owner Adam Stern told What Now Seattle that the team took over the business this week. Future plans for the location will be announced in the coming weeks.

Arista opened in 1997. The shop sells wines from Washington and around the world, including collectible bottles and grower Champagnes. Its selection also includes decanters, glassware, wine tools, and gifts.

The shop also offers free Saturday tastings and a monthly wine club. Club members receive two bottles selected according to their preferences, with tasting notes, aging guidance, and food-pairing suggestions. Changes to those programs have not been confirmed.

Visit Arista Wine Cellars’ website for more information about the shop.
