Sephora may be adding a new standalone presence to one of Waco’s busiest retail corridors. According to public filings, Sephora plans to open at 4633 S. Jack Kultgen Expressway within Central Texas Marketplace, with a construction completion date targeted for May 2027. Dates in public filings are not always definitive.
Founded in France in 1969, Sephora has grown into one of the world’s leading beauty retailers, with more than 2,700 stores in 35 countries.
The brand’s U.S. locations carry an extensive assortment of makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrance from both established and emerging brands, alongside Sephora’s private-label line.
Sephora currently operates at Kohl’s at 2708 W. Loop 340 within the same development, according to the brand’s store locator, suggesting a potential expansion of the brand’s footprint in Waco beyond its existing shop-in-shop format.

Central Texas Marketplace is Waco’s largest retail destination, anchored by major national tenants and drawing shoppers from across McLennan County and surrounding areas.
