Seoul Meat Co, a Korean barbecue restaurant, is coming to Dolphin Mall, at 11401 NW 12th St., Suite E504, in Miami. The restaurant is run by ICC Hospitality, the holding company behind the brand, and Julius Son is its CEO. State business records show the restaurant is in the works at the mall.
The restaurant serves Korean barbecue, a style of dining where groups cook their own meat on grills built into the table. At its Kirkland, Washington, location, the menu centers on bulgogi, brisket, ribs and steak, and guests praise the bottomless meat and the ribeye. The restaurant costs about $45 per person with a two-hour dining limit, and the space is modern, with ventilation tubes over the grills to limit smoke. The atmosphere is loud and energetic, with lively music and packed tables.
The brand is growing beyond Washington. A Seoul Meat Co Korean Barbecue is also listed as coming soon at Fashion Fair in Fresno, California.
The Miami restaurant will join a busy mix of dining and entertainment at Dolphin Mall, which opened in 2001 and is owned by Simon Property Group. The mall has about 1.4 million square feet of retail space and more than 240 stores, including Bass Pro Shops, Burlington, Marshalls and a Bloomingdale’s Outlet. Its dining options include a food court, TGI Fridays and LandShark Bar & Grill, and its Vivo! entertainment district opened in June 2023. The mall also has a CMX Dolphin 19 & IMAX cinema.
Dolphin Mall has a Miami address but is within the city of Sweetwater, near the Florida Turnpike and the Dolphin Expressway. It was designed to draw tourists and Latin American travelers, and it sits close to Miami International Airport.
