Permitting records show a local nail chain may be expanding in the area. A project was recently filed proposing to convert an empty commercial space at 2520 S. Colorado Boulevard into Blue Sky Nails & Lash, adding another location to the beauty business’s portfolio.

Details state that the scope of work will include interior framing, electrical, plumbing and heating, ventilation, and HVAC. The city’s online record notes a construction valuation of $324,000, and the application status is marked as “Review in Progress”.

Munsu Ahn of Deco Design and Construction Management is listed as the applicant and licensed professional, and Harman Management Corporation is identified as the property owner.

The previous tenant was an Oakwood Homes sales office. Changes call for creating a salon layout with nail and pedicure stations, a lash area, a head massage area, reception and refreshment space, restrooms, and a utility room. The plans list a maximum occupant load of 189 people.

Blue Sky Nails & Lash has multiple locations around the Denver area, offering nail services alongside waxing, lash and brow treatments in a high-end salon setting. The company has salons near DU, in the Highlands, Lowry, Harvey Park, Cherry Hills, and Parker.
