Located in the Vallejo neighborhood, the upscale restaurant Michael Warring announced its closure. After 15 years of service, the restaurant will host its final dinner service in December.
Vallejo’s Michael Warring to Close Permanently
Chef Michael Warring and his wife Ali Gulczynski founded Michael Warring in 2012. The restaurant offers an intimate dining experience with an open kitchen layout. It is well known for serving innovative dishes prepared with modern techniques and fresh seasonal ingredients.
In a social media announcement, the owners said the restaurant at 8300 Bennington Court will serve its final dinner on Saturday, December 5, 2026.
Talking about the restaurant and its journey in the community, the owners wrote, “Fifteen years ago, we were just a couple of kids taking a chance. What started as a restaurant turned into a life — a marriage, a family, and countless relationships gained along the way.”
In the post, the owners added that while the Vallejo chapter of Michael Warring is ending, it is not a permanent goodbye. The owners announced that they are excited for the next chapter of the restaurant.
They said, “This is not the end of Michael Warring, but it is an end to the four walls that built what we see today.”
