Columbus Circle residents will soon have a new spot to get a little extra ear-resistible bling.
Rowan will open on the ground floor of The Shops at Columbus Circle.
The specialty ear-piercing studio will mark Rowan’s second Manhattan location, joining its existing Upper East Side outpost.
Founded by Louisa Schneider in 2017, Rowan was inspired by her daughter’s ear-piercing journey. After researching available options, Schneider saw an opportunity to bring her own vision to life.
“Piercing parlors didn’t feel safe enough. Pediatrician’s offices didn’t feel special enough. And the more I looked into the ear piercing industry as a whole, the more I realized how overlooked and outdated it really was—especially for something so meaningful,” Schneider said via the website.
Rowan focuses on making ear piercing a safe, welcoming and celebratory experience, with licensed nurses performing piercings and helping customers select jewelry.
The studio offers hypoallergenic earrings and aftercare products, with jewelry crafted from premium, nickel-free metals, including 14-karat gold, 24-karat gold, sterling silver, titanium and platinum.
From charming hoops to delicate drop studs, Rowan highlights a versatile selection of earrings to suit every season and occasion.
Rowan has not announced an official opening date, but its website teases a “Coming soon!” debut, while Google lists the studio as opening in November.
