Maggiano’s Little Italy is preparing to open its first Raleigh restaurant in the former Brio Italian Grille space at Crabtree Valley Mall, located at 4325 Glenwood Avenue. According to WRAL News, the restaurant’s opening date has not been announced.
Brio Italian Grille closed its Crabtree Valley Mall restaurant in August 2025 after more than 15 years at the shopping center. WRAL also reported that Maggiano’s would become the Triangle’s second location, joining its existing restaurant at The Streets at Southpoint in Durham.
Maggiano’s official website describes its dining concept as Italian-American cuisine served in a setting suited to gathering with family and friends. Its menu features appetizers, pasta dishes, entrées and desserts, while the restaurant’s family-style option allows groups to share multiple dishes at the table.
The chain’s menu includes Italian-American favorites such as lasagna, chicken Parmesan and baked pasta dishes, alongside seafood, salads and desserts.
