It’s a busy autumn for Cold Stone Creamery on Florida’s west coast! In October, What Now reported on plans for new Cold Stone locations in Bradenton and Sun City Center. Now, further south, another new Cold Stone is in the works in downtown Fort Myers.

According to plan review documents submitted by CSC of Downtown LLC, the new Cold Stone Creamery will open at 2272 First St., Unit 101.

The menu at Cold Stone currently features Limited-Time Favorites like the Treat or Treat (Boo Batter Ice Cream, Kit Kat, Halloween Oreo Cookies & M&M’s), the Witches’ Boo (Boo Batter Ice Cream, Halloween Oreo Cookies, Whipped Topping & Spooky Sprinkles), and the Crumb and Get It (Honey Maid Graham Cracker Ice Cream, Cookie Dough, Honey Maid Graham Crackers & Cookie Butter).

“For more than 30 years we’ve served up the finest, freshest ice cream, cakes, smoothies and shakes using only the highest quality ingredients, and of course, our signature process of preparing your custom ice cream creation on a frozen granite stone,” says the Cold Stone website. “How good is our ice cream? Well, let’s just say that on a scale of 1 to 10, we’re somewhere around an 11.5. But we’re about more than just serving up amazing ice cream. We like to think we’re really in the business of making people happy…”

Opening in the First Street location, Cold Stone will join a restaurant community that includes Izzy’s Fish & Oyster, Sip & Sizzle, and Scoops on First.
