Pistache French Bistro, the beloved community staple known for classic French bistro dishes, is preparing for its second opening. According to a permit from the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation, the new Pistache French Bistro is expected to open inside Palm Beach International Airport (PBI), located in West Palm Beach at 1000 James L. Turnage Blvd., C-4.
What Now Miami reached out to owner and founder Thierry Beaud to learn more about the exciting new addition to PBI. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“The critically acclaimed landmark culinary destination,” the Pistache French Bistro website reads.
“Awarded “Best Brunch” by the Palm Beach Post. Best in Dining 2018: Critic’s Choice Awards.”

French-born restaurateur Beaud, from Bordeaux, France, opened the beloved French eatery in 2008 alongside investor and friend Reid Boren. Beaud grew up dining in traditional French bistros and brasseries, and he noticed a gap in West Palm Beach’s local culinary scene for a simple, no-fuss neighborhood bistro serving seasonal French fare. Beaud previously managed the popular local spot Au Bar in the 1990s before importing French foods and managing other regional restaurants.
Pistache is part of Beaud’s restaurant group, TITOU Hospitality Group, which later expanded to include concepts like PB Catch in 2011 and The Regional in 2016. Over the years, the 7,500-square-foot bistro—featuring 160 indoor seats and a 35-seat outdoor terrace—has become a community staple and local cultural hub, even hosting absentee voting for French elections.
Known for classic French bistro dishes such as escargot, pâté, mussels, and steak tartare, and for vintage Art Nouveau-style custom posters, it has earned numerous accolades, including the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
