Tempur-Pedic is preparing to open a new store at Fashion Valley, located at 7007 Friars Road, with the location expected to welcome customers in late February or early March 2027, company representatives told What Now San Diego.
Tempur-Pedic is an American mattress and sleep-products brand known for its pressure-relieving TEMPUR material, originally developed from technology created for NASA. Its retail assortment includes mattresses, adjustable bases, ergonomic sleep systems, pillows, bedding and other accessories designed to support sleep comfort.
The opening will expand the mattress brand’s retail presence in the city, where it already operates two other locations. The Fashion Valley store will join the company’s existing San Diego locations at Westfield UTC, at 4525 La Jolla Village Drive, and on Girard Avenue in La Jolla, at 7616 Girard Avenue.
Tempur-Pedic is part of Somnigroup International, formerly known as Tempur Sealy International. The group’s portfolio also includes Sealy, Stearns & Foster and Mattress Firm, bringing several major mattress and bedding brands under the same corporate umbrella.
The new store is among several retail additions coming to Fashion Valley. What Now San Diego has recently covered the planned arrival of FENDI, J.Crew and Longchamp, as well as a second Lids location.
