A local bubble tea shop appears to be working on a new location in Midtown.

Queen Tea is planned for 770 Juniper Street NE, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. It appears that the 2,387-square-foot shop will be located in a ground-floor commercial space at The Hadley apartment complex.

This would be the third location for Queen Tea, which first opened in Kennesaw in 2019 to bring an authentic Taiwanese bubble tea experience to the community. It expanded to Marietta in 2022.

The shop serves Taiwanese bubble tea with authentic ingredients in a range of flavors like grapefruit, passionfruit red bean matcha, rose oolong and more. The menu also includes savory snacks and Taiwanese street food like dumplings and pork buns.

Queen Tea #3 LLC, registered to Queen Tea owner Joleen Dai, was created in July 2024, according to a filing with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office.
