Last week, WhatNow revealed several upcoming restaurant openings in metro Atlanta. The lineup includes several established brands expanding into new locations, along with a returning Marietta restaurant.
Poké House

A second Poké House location is coming to the Atlanta market under local franchise owner Dean Wang. The location is expected to open at Barrett Corners Phase III by the first quarter of 2028. The brand currently operates 10 locations in California and one in Oregon.
Poké House brings a Hawaiian-inspired menu featuring signature and build-your-own poke bowls. The menu also offers house-made sauces, sushi rolls, and sides like miso soup. Here’s more information on Poké House’s upcoming Atlanta opening.
Chin Chin Chen Asian Fusion

Chin Chin Chen Asian Fusion restaurant is returning to Marietta after a fire forced the restaurant to close. According to a report by East Cobb News, an early morning fire destroyed the former restaurant. The roof collapsed, and about 35 firefighters spent five hours battling the blaze.
The Chinese restaurant will open in the former Zaxby’s space at 3030 Johnson Ferry Road and is undergoing setup and renovation. The former restaurant was known for its menu favorites such as General Tso’s chicken, Mongolian beef, lo mein, and fried rice. Go Greek Yogurt

Go Greek Yogurt is opening a new location in the Toco Hills Shopping Center. The store will open in early 2027 in a 900-square-foot space. This will be the first Go Greek Yogurt location in Georgia, joining the brand’s existing locations in California, Florida, New York, Dallas, and Seattle.
The franchise will bring its signature fresh and frozen Greek yogurt, smoothies, and bowls. Menu options include the Energia Bowl, Proteini Bowl, Aceso Bowl, and Greek Honey Froyo/Yogurt. Read on about the upcoming debut of Go Greek Yogurt.
City Barbeque

City Barbeque is opening a new location in Barrett Corners Phase III in Kennesaw. The restaurant will occupy part of the former LA Fitness space. An opening date has not yet been announced.
The new location will offer a BBQ-focused menu, including BBQ sandwiches, smokehouse tacos, chicken, St. Louis ribs, salads, and more. The brand currently operates over 75 locations across the U.S. Learn more about the upcoming opening.
