QDOBA has announced its plans to expand in the Atlanta market. The company has signed a new franchise agreement to open 30 restaurants across metro Atlanta. The agreement is part of a broader plan to add more than 100 restaurants across the southeastern and western United States.
QDOBA Announces Major Expansion in the Atlanta Market
QDOBA Mexican Eats is expanding in metro Atlanta; these restaurants will bring the fast-casual Mexican chain to more communities across the region. The agreement is among the company’s largest franchise development deals to date.
According to PRNewswire, the development across Atlanta will be led by an experienced restaurant operator. The operator previously owned and operated numerous McDonald’s locations in the region. QDOBA said it selected the franchisee for its experience and knowledge of the Atlanta market.
“We’re thrilled to partner with proven franchise operators who share our people-first culture, exceptional standards for guest service and commitment to disciplined growth,” said Jeremy Vitaro, Chief Development Officer, QDOBA.
The brand is expected to increase its presence in the market where competition is strong. The new restaurants will introduce QDOBA’s Mexican-inspired menu to the community. The menu includes customizable burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and salads.
QDOBA’s Growth Plans
QDOBA currently operates hundreds of locations across North America, relying on franchising to fuel its growth. The expansion in the Atlanta market is also part of its goal to grow rapidly in the coming years.
The company has announced its plans to add over 100 franchised restaurants through new agreements. The agreements include planned restaurant openings in Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and additional markets. Through these openings, the company will support its long-term goal of growing its presence to approximately 2,000 restaurants nationwide.
The Atlanta expansion is one of several development agreements supporting QDOBA’s plan to add more than 100 new franchised restaurants across the southeastern and western United States.
