Several restaurant concepts announced expansion plans across Metro Atlanta last week, including new locations, a pop-up, and health-focused bakery additions. The lineup includes expanding brands entering new neighborhoods across the metro area.

Last week, WhatNow unveiled five upcoming restaurant openings across Metro Atlanta. Here’s a look at the upcoming openings:

Toastique

A new Toastique location is soon to open in Johns Creek. It will be opening this summer, bringing gourmet toast, juice, and coffee to the neighborhood. The location will be operated by husband-and-wife team Steve and Randi Rubin.

The Johns Creek site places the café near schools, fitness studios, and other health-focused businesses that align with the brand’s customer base. The menu will feature toasts, smoothies, superfood bowls, and cold-pressed juices. Read more about the opening here.

Mozaika Mezze

Buckhead is slated to gain a new Mediterranean dining destination this fall. Local restaurateur Okan Ozyurteri is bringing Mozaika Mezze to the neighborhood.

The restaurant is known for its Turkish, Greek, and Lebanese flavors. The menu will feature small-plate mezze, wood-grilled skewers, and more. Read more about the opening here.

Bizarre Coffee Company

Bizarre Coffee Company is continuing its expansion plans and is opening its fourth location. The brand is known for its specialty coffee and eclectic, community-driven atmosphere. The cafés often double as gathering spaces for local art and community events.

The Downtown Acworth location is currently under construction ahead of its opening. The menu features specialty cold brews, matcha, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and avocado toast. Read more about the opening here.

Sinfully Sweet Keto

A health-focused baked goods spot is opening in Kennesaw. Sinfully Sweet Keto is expanding to a new location, bringing its sugar-free, gluten-free, and low-carb offerings. The bakery was started by Kelli Sterling in 2021 in the Cartersville area.

An official opening date has not yet been announced. The bakery’s menu will include cookies, cakes, muffins, bars, breads, pies, and other pastries. Read more about the opening here.

Ché René Macarons

Ché René Macarons is opening a pop-up at Studio House Atlanta. The pop-up will open just in time for the World Cup in June. Owner Ché Houston said the activation will remain open through the World Cup season and continue operating through the end of the year.

The pop-up will also introduce several new menu items. Ché René Macarons is known for its blending classic French macarons with Southern-inspired flavors. Read more about the opening here.
