Gourmet toast and juice café Toastique is set to make its Georgia debut this fall.

The location at 1230 West Peachtree Street NW in the Hanover Midtown luxury apartment complex is expected to open in September. On the menu: gourmet toast, smoothie bowls, cold-pressed juices, coffee and grab-and-go options. The café will also serve a curated selection of juice-based cocktails.

Franchisee Nicole Wiley, an Atlanta native, is opening the new restaurant.

Wiley was a U.S. Air Force officer for 25 years, then an aircraft engineer program assistant for the Federal Aviation Administration. She became eager for a new challenge and wanted to help create more healthy dining options.

“I fell in love with an açaí bowl on vacation and wondered why I couldn’t find a good bowl closer to home. After much thought, I started searching for franchises that offered what I was looking for,” she said. “Once I was introduced to Toastique I knew I’d found the right fit. When I saw the Hanover Midtown building, I felt it was the perfect place for a healthy dining destination.”

The 1,790-square-foot restaurant offers counter service and has seating for 40 guests. Wiley partnered with local artists Taylor B. Douglass and G.W. Harper to adorn the walls.

“I’m most looking forward to seeing the smiles on guests’ faces when they take that first sip of juice or bite of toast,” Wiley said. “All of our ingredients are fresh, natural and responsibly sourced – even down to the straws made from agave.”

Toastique began in Washington, D.C., in 2018. There are now locations in Colorado, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California, Utah, Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan and Virginia.

What Now Atlanta first reported earlier this year that Toastique was expanding to Atlanta.

The Midtown location will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
