According to public filings, Casa do Brasil is planning a new location at 4000 E Palm Valley Blvd. in Round Rock. The Brazilian steakhouse restaurant will begin construction on June 10 and conclude September 1. Casa do Brasil is known for its churrasco-style dining experience, where seasoned cuts of meat are slow-roasted over an open flame and carved tableside by gaucho chefs. In addition to its signature meat service, the concept offers an extensive salad bar featuring fresh vegetables, imported cheeses, cured meats, seafood, soups, and seasonal dishes.
The restaurant group currently operates four locations across Texas, including restaurants in Austin, College Station, Houston, and Waco. The proposed Round Rock location would further expand the brand’s presence in Central Texas and place the concept within one of the fastest-growing communities in the Austin metropolitan area. What Now Austin reached out to Casa do Brasil for additional information regarding the project, including opening plans and expected timelines. Representatives for the company had not responded by press time.
Casa Do Brasil will be located in a space formerly occupied by Cork & Barrel Pub, an Irish-inspired gastropub. Round Rock continues to attract restaurant investment as the city expands alongside the greater Austin metropolitan area. Located along the Interstate 35 corridor, the community has become one of Central Texas’s fastest-growing dining and retail markets.
