A specialty bakery in the heart of Round Rock is making a move. Paige’s Bakehouse has been serving guests a variety of desserts for the past 16 years. Now, plans are to relocate from the bakery’s current space on East Anderson Street to a newly constructed space about a block away at 200 E Austin Ave. in Round Rock.

Paige’s Bakehouse owner Paige Perry told What Now Austin they are building from the ground up and hope to move into the new location sometime in early 2024. Paige expects to only shut down the current location for a few days once it’s time to move everything to the new space.

The new location will feature more room for classes, a full coffee bar, and indoor dining. “We’re going to have a balcony for people to come and study and relax,” Paige said. Paige’s Bakehouse also has a mobile bakery truck to cater local events.

The menu features everything from breakfast pastries to wedding cakes and includes vegan and gluten-free options. Paige’s Bakehouse cakes feature alternating layers of cake and filling. Some featured flavors are Red Velvet cake with cream cheese filling, Raspberry Lemonade featuring lemon cake with raspberry mousse and lemon curd, and Birthday Cake with Funfetti cake and confetti buttercream. Cake pops, cookies, and other Sweets & Treats such as pies and brownies are also offered.
