The growing poke chain Pokeworks will soon be expanding in Central Texas, according to a recent press release, which states that a fourth Austin-area store will be opening “a fourth location in the coming months.”

Recently, Co-owners Marcos and Carol Blanco opened a store at 900 North Austin Ave, Suite 408 in Georgetown, after opening two other stores at 1920 E. Riverside Dr. and at 5610 N IH-35 in Austin. What Now Austin reached out to Carol Blanco to inquire details about the co-franchisee’s fourth location, but she was in a meeting and not immediately available for comment.

The company describes its offering as based on “fresh, authentic Hawaiian flavors. Pokeworks guests can craft their own burrito, bowl or salad filled with Ahi Tuna, Salmon, Shrimp, Chicken Breast, Organic Tofu and other gluten-free and keto friendly choices.”

Defining themselves in the press release, the company states “Pokeworks was founded in 2015 with the simple mission of spreading its love of poke – the crisp, fresh, healthy Hawaiian favorite – with the world. Pokeworks’ innovative Poke Your Way™ approach is groundbreaking, offering guests limitless ways to customize their poke order to match their eating preferences including vegan, gluten-free, and other mindful diets. The Poke Burrito has developed a cult-like following, much like Pokeworks’ proprietary sauces, which range from sweet and spicy to savory. Pokeworks believes in living a healthy lifestyle and eating meals made from the freshest, highest quality ingredients from sustainable food sources.”

As soon as pertinent information is readily available, What Now Austin will update the story accordingly.
