Classic American fast-casual brand Popeye’s is on its way to Liberty Hill, according to recent public records. The restaurant, managed by Houston-based Haza Group, will be located at 13101 TX-29, next to Starbucks and an upcoming Wendy’s—also managed by the Dhanani family.

Estimated to cost over $1.5 million, public records examined by What Now Austin state the project will consist of “Construction of 2122 SF QSR building with drive thru”, set to reach completion by June 2024.

Popeye’s, like most other chicken-centered fast casual restaurants, features a menu of fried chicken combos, boneless chicken wings and tenders, chicken sandwiches, and a range of appetizers such as cajun fries, coleslaw, red beans and rice, and homestyle mac & cheese.

Until the Liberty Hill Popeye’s open, eager readers can find the chicken chain in neighboring Leander and all across the Austin metro area.
