A renowned Italian fashion house known for its elevated cashmere essentials is making its New England debut.

Falconeri will open its first boutique in the region at Boston’s Prudential Center before the end of 2026, bringing its signature blend of timeless design and everyday luxury to the Back Bay. The new store will be located at 800 Boylston Street, across from Polo Ralph Lauren near Center Court.

Founded in 2000 and part of the Oniverse group since 2009, Falconeri has built an international following with its refined knitwear crafted from premium natural fibers. The brand currently operates 206 boutiques across 29 countries, alongside 25 online stores worldwide. Rather than chasing trends, the Italian label focuses on understated wardrobe staples designed to be worn for years, combining artisanal craftsmanship with a more accessible approach to luxury.

From the pastures of Mongolia to storefronts around the world, Falconeri oversees each stage of production, carefully selecting raw materials and maintaining close control over the manufacturing process. The result is knitwear celebrated for its “softness, durability, and meticulous attention to detail.”

According to a press release, guests at the Prudential Center location will find Falconeri’s best-known collections, including the brand’s Ultrafine Cashmere line, a signature yarn prized for its lightweight feel, breathability, and thermoregulating properties that make it suitable for year-round wear. The assortment will also include the Silkfine Cashmere collection, which offers fluidity and luminosity, and Airfine Cashmere, an ultra-lightweight interpretation made for warmer temperatures.

The boutique itself has been designed to encourage shoppers to slow down and linger. Reflecting Falconeri’s newest U.S. store concept, the space will feature custom oak millwork, whitewashed natural sheets, recycled metal structures, and rounded wood details that balance contemporary sophistication with organic warmth. A standout feature will be the store’s integrated “library” area, where guests can sit, relax, and escape the bustle of the city after browsing racks of knitwear.

“These spaces allow us to offer a truly immersive experience, inviting customers to touch the fibers, feel the quality, and appreciate the craftsmanship,” said Sandro Veronesi, president of Oniverse.

The Boston boutique arrives as part of what Falconeri calls its “Cashmere Revolution,” an ambitious U.S. expansion that includes new stores in Santa Clara’s Valley Fair, Short Hills, New York City’s Madison Avenue, and Chicago’s Michigan Avenue. By the end of 2026, the company expects to operate seven boutiques nationwide.

When it debuts, Falconeri will join an influx of upcoming tenants at the Prudential Center, including Cole Haan, Kendra Scott, and an upgraded Madewell store.
