A luxury nail salon and spa is polishing off a major expansion across Greater Boston.
Luxe Nails & Co., which currently operates a salon in Charlestown, is preparing to open five new locations in Dorchester, Everett, Westwood, Burlington, and Allston, confirmed founder and CEO Thong (“Tony”) Duong.
Most of the new salons are currently under construction and expected to open soon, with the Westwood location slated to debut in September 2026. In addition to Luxe Nails & Co., Duong also owns Tea Bar Nails Lashes in Medford.
The expansion marks the latest milestone in Duong’s decades-long career in the nail industry. A Vietnamese refugee, he fled Vietnam by bamboo boat in 1987 before spending two years in a refugee camp in Hong Kong and several months in the Philippines.
After arriving in the United States, Duong attended nail school in 1992 and opened his first salon in Arkansas in 1995. Since then, he has opened and sold numerous salons, and today his focus is on growing Luxe Nails & Co. into a recognizable brand.
Each upcoming salon will offer the brand’s signature nail services while significantly expanding its luxury spa offerings with amenities like head spas, eyelash services, waxing, facials, and, at select locations, hair services.
The largest of the new salons is headed to 735 Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester, where Luxe Nails & Co. will occupy approximately 6,400 square feet. The space will feature 42 pedicure chairs, 42 nail stations, six eyelash stations, four head spas, three waxing and facial rooms, and three hair stations.
In Burlington, Luxe Nails & Co. will open a roughly 5,400-square-foot salon at 43 Middlesex Turnpike in the Middlesex Commons shopping center, featuring 42 pedicure chairs, 38 nail stations, four head spas, five eyelash stations, and three waxing and facial rooms.
An approximately 3,700-square-foot salon is planned for 102 Mill Road in Everett within the Maxwell Apartments development. The location will include 30 pedicure chairs, 30 nail stations, two head spas, and three treatment rooms for waxing, facials, and eyelash services.

Meanwhile, the Westwood location will open at 22 Everett Street in The Block apartments, spanning approximately 5,000 square feet with 40 pedicure chairs, 35 nail stations, two head spas, and two treatment rooms for waxing, facials, and eyelash services. It is currently expected to open in September.
Duong also revealed that a fifth Luxe Nails & Co. salon is planned for 219 Western Avenue in Allston, within the Continuum development. Additional details, including the salon’s size and anticipated opening timeline, have not yet been announced.
“I’ve opened and sold many salons over the years, but now my goal is to build Luxe Nails & Co. into a franchise company,” Duong told What Now Boston. “We want every location to offer a luxury experience that’s truly one of a kind, where clients will recognize the same quality experience regardless of location. Some of these salons will be among the largest in New England.”
