Duck Donuts to Open Second Charleston-Area Location in Mount Pleasant

A growing donut franchise will soon open its second Charleston-area location.

Duck Donuts is coming to Mount Pleasant’s Patriots Plaza shopping mall at 855 Houston Northcutt Blvd, Suite 14b, according to a representative for the eatery.

Founded in 2006 in Duck, North Carolina, Duck Donuts has quickly expanded to more than 135 locally owned and operated shops across 25 states, Puerto Rico, and several international locations.

The donut shop is celebrated for its made-to-order donuts, which are dipped, drizzled, and topped to the customer’s liking. Duck Donuts also offers coffee, sandwiches, ice cream, and milkshakes.

An opening date has not yet been announced. Franchisee John Ingham, who will oversee the shop with his wife Amy Lee, told What Now Charleston that he will provide further details soon.
