A popular West Ashley eatery has temporarily closed its doors to prepare for a relocation.

According to a recent Facebook post, Fabio’s Ristorante Italiano, located in the Shops at River Market, closed on May 11, 2024 and will remain closed for the entirety of the summer.

The eatery is set to reopen in the fall at a new location just over half a mile away at 2578 Ashley River Rd. It will operate exclusively as a small carry-out and third-party delivery establishment.

Owner Fabio Zedda has assured patrons that the restaurant will continue to offer the same classic Italian menu, featuring dishes like fettuccine alla bolognese, ricotta gnocchi, and chicken parmesan, along with some exciting new additions.
