Magnolia Bakery Cafe is reopening thanks to new owner, Leah McCarthy, Explore Beaufort SC reports. After more than a decade of doing business, the popular breakfast and lunch spot closed its doors back in December 2022. The revamped space is expected to host a soft opening on March 5

The updated cafe will be completely refreshing its branding, including its logo and look. Menu items will include a variety of salads, bowls, paninis, waffles, eggs, fresh pastries and much more. There will also be a full coffee bar as well as an event and catering space that can host up to 75 people.

“I’ve loved Magnolia over the years, and we are so excited and honored to be able to reopen the restaurant,” McCarthy told Explore Beaufort. “We plan to pay homage to the old spot that was such a part of the Beaufort community.”

McCarthy also owns Downtown Catering Company & Deli in Bluffton.
